The version of this Corvette with chrome rear bumper was only produced for one year. It became the transitional model between the chrome bumpers and the later models.
The 73 Corvette with its chrome rear bumper and original Wolfrace rims is surely one of the most beautiful models from the C3 series. This Corvette is also finished in the special Corvette Orange Metallic paint and has an -almost new- brown soft top. In addition, the Corvette is equipped with many accessories, such as: Power steering and power brakes, Tilt steering wheel, Aloy wheels and the original radio. A beautiful and neat Medium Saddle brown interior makes it an attractive convertible for wonderful and familiar cruising.
The 5.7 liter V8 runs fantastic and makes a wonderful sound. The TH350 automatic transmission shifts neatly as it should.
The car has been completely overhauled technically and what was needed was renewed. Think about:
The Edelbrock 600 carburetor; tank; starter motor; battery; vacuum hoses from the headlights; power steering Servo + hoses; around new shock absorbers; the leaf spring and rubbers in the entire suspension have been replaced by polyurethane parts, both front and rear.
The brake discs all around, the calipers and all ball joints have been overhauled.
