Chrysler Saratoga Hard top sedan 4-door 1959
"A real sled" is the only description that fits this Chrysler Saratoga. Dating from the aerospace car era, the car is of course complete with lots of chrome, gaudy details, large rear fins and huge chrome bumpers. An important feature of the Hard Top Sedan is that the car has no window frames and b-pillar, which means that when the windows are turned down, the whole side is open. That gives you an extra feeling of freedom when touring in this sled.
The Chrysler Saratoga was repainted once in the original colors white and blue. After spraying, dust residues remained visible on the lying parts. The car is solid and neat. As a wedding car, the Chrysler Saratoga has earned its spurs for many years and is therefore technically well maintained. The heavy 6.3 liter V8 (Golden Lion) with a four barrel carburettor gives an enormous torque of almost 580NM, making this large car very pleasant to drive. The three-speed Torque Flite automatic with push button operation enhances this driving pleasure. In terms of interior, the blue fabric upholstery is really neat and undamaged, and the sky is also very neat.
